⚠️ Scam Awareness Reminder for Lake Saint Louis Residents
I wanted to share an important reminder after receiving information from the Lake Saint Louis Police Department about scams affecting residents in our community. Financial scams continue to increase, especially those involving cryptocurrency or bitcoin kiosks, electronic payments, gift cards, and banking fraud. These scams often rely on fear, urgency, intimidation, and secrecy to pressure people into sending money before they have time to stop and think. In April alone, Lake

A Time to Honor and Remember
A folded flag is one of the quiet symbols of service, sacrifice, and remembrance. As we gather for Memorial Day, we pause to honor those who gave their last full measure. We remember. 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day
This is my first Mother’s Day without my mom, so I’m especially aware this year that today can hold many emotions at once. I’m thinking of everyone who carries the heart of a mother in any form. To those raising children, those whose babies were not born, those missing their moms, those who are stepmoms, grandmothers, bonus moms, foster moms, adoptive moms, aunties, mentors, caregivers, and those who may not have the title but have been “mom” in all the ways that matter.

One of the best perks of living in Lake Saint Louis is getting to share our community with wildlife. 🦆🐍
In the last few days, we’ve had two good reminders of that. On April 30, the Wentzville Fire Protection District helped rescue ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain. Then, on May 1, a Lake Saint Louis police officer helped a resident safely move a snake from their front door wreath. As the weather warms up and animals become more active, please take a little extra care when you’re out and about: Look around before you step, mow, trim, or move outdoor items. Wildlife ma

🌿 It's Official! Swearing In.
I waited a couple of days to post because I’ve been taking it all in after being officially sworn in as Ward 1 Alderman on Thursday, April 23. So grateful for this opportunity to serve. There is a lot to learn, and I’m stepping into this role ready to listen, learn, and do the work well. I’m excited for what’s ahead and ready to begin this journey alongside my neighbors and our community. Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, and placed their trust in m

Speaking Engagement at CBC
This week, I had the opportunity to spend time with a class of seniors at Christian Brothers College High School for two sessions on the history of voting in the United States, women’s suffrage, and the realities of voting today, as part of my work with the League of Women Voters. I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully these students engaged. They asked great questions, challenged ideas, and really took the time to think through how things work in real life. Moment

Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA)
Many people who live in Lake St. Louis today may not realize that RECA, the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, could still apply to them based on where they lived years ago. If you grew up in North St. Louis, spent time near Coldwater Creek, or lived, worked, or went to school in impacted parts of St. Louis City, St. Louis County, or St. Charles County during the 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s, this may be worth a closer look.
