UPDATE: What a great day for the 1st Annual Mayor’s Cup supporting PGA HOPE.
Ten teams played, and Team Cottleville took home the trophy. Congratulations to them!
I was so happy to be part of this event and grateful for everyone who came out to support the veteran teams, provided snacks along the course, lent golf carts, helped make the day run smoothly, and brought such wonderful community energy.
We really do have the best community.
Special thanks to my team, Team Lake St. Louis Ambassadors!
ORIGINAL POST: The 1st Annual Mayor’s Cup will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Lake St. Louis Community Association Golf Course in support of PGA HOPE.
This event brings together neighboring communities as mayors sponsor teams of veterans for a friendly competition to help raise funds and support Veterans and Active Duty Military through PGA HOPE.
As the wife of a Marine veteran, I especially appreciate efforts like this that create opportunities for veterans to connect, stay active, and be supported through community partnership.
PGA HOPE and the Veterans Memorial Museum will have information tables on site, and the winning mayor will take home the trophy.
