I received an updated timeline for the water main project near South Outer 40 at Bexley Drive this evening and wanted to share it with neighbors and residents in the area.

Here’s the latest summary:

💧 This is the ongoing 30-inch water main project extending from Lake Saint Louis Boulevard to Highway 70.

🌊 The boring work under the lake is expected to continue until early July.

🛠️ After that, crews anticipate approximately another 30 days to install piping and fittings.

🚧 During that next phase, the water main will be installed through the Windsor Park subdivision entrance.

🚗 I’m told access to the subdivision will be maintained, but residents may experience delays while crews use open-cut methods for that portion of the installation.

🛣️ Permanent road restoration is anticipated in August, once the major construction work is complete and the heavy equipment has been removed.

Please continue to use caution when driving through this area, especially near the curve, work zone, and subdivision entrance. I’ll continue to share updates as I receive them. You can link to my original post in the comments.

Stay safe!
