SCCAD Grand Re-Opening
I’m a little late posting this since the event was Saturday, May 30, but I really wanted to make sure I acknowledged the St. Charles County Ambulance District’s grand re-opening, the remarkable team behind it, and the important services they provide. 🚑 SCCAD hosted the community from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with BBQ, building tours, information stations, ambulance tours, and opportunities to meet employees and leadership. The ambulance and mass casualty ambulance were especia

⚠️ Scam Awareness Reminder for Lake Saint Louis Residents
I wanted to share an important reminder after receiving information from the Lake Saint Louis Police Department about scams affecting residents in our community. Financial scams continue to increase, especially those involving cryptocurrency or bitcoin kiosks, electronic payments, gift cards, and banking fraud. These scams often rely on fear, urgency, intimidation, and secrecy to pressure people into sending money before they have time to stop and think. In April alone, Lake

Then, on May 1, a Lake Saint Louis police officer helped a resident safely move a snake from their front door wreath. As the weather warms up and animals become more active, please take a little extra care when you’re out and about: Look around before you step, mow, trim, or move outdoor items. Wildlife ma

Storm Safety Reminder
Heavy storms are predicted today, so please try to make sure you’re prepared before they move through. Keep an eye on the weather, charge your phone, and have a plan if warnings are issued. If you’re at home: Move to a basement, storm shelter, or small interior room on the lowest level, away from windows Keep sturdy shoes, a flashlight or battery-powered lantern, medications, keys, wallet, and a charged phone nearby Bring pets into your shelter area early if you can, and ke

💚 After the High Winds, Let’s Look Out for One Another
You may be seeing posts on social media about limbs coming down, pergolas blowing over, and umbrellas being swept away after the high winds we had on Sunday. We had a few limbs come down at our house, and one of my large campaign signs even had the grommets ripped right out. Some things are easy enough to repair, but I know that may not be the case for everyone. So I did a little research and wanted to share a few free or low-cost resources that may help neighbors dealing wit
