Road Closure Alert: Heads up for anyone who uses eastbound I-64 near Prospect Road

MoDOT has announced that the eastbound I-64 exit ramp to Prospect Road will close at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, and the Prospect Road entrance ramp to eastbound I-64 will close at 9 a.m. that same day. Both closures are expected to remain in place for 30 days, weather permitting, as part of pavement replacement work between Prospect Road and Lake St. Louis Boulevard.

MoDOT also shared that eastbound I-64 traffic is currently narrowed and shifted left in that area, with nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The pavement reconstruction is expected to be completed by July 1.

If you travel through that corridor regularly, you may want to plan a little extra time and look ahead at alternate routes.
