About Angela
I’m honored to serve as Ward 1 Alderman in Lake Saint Louis. I believe thoughtful leadership starts with listening well, asking good questions, and caring deeply about the community we share. My hope is that this site helps residents feel more informed, more connected, and more confident engaging with local government.
Professional Background
My professional background is in leadership, organizational effectiveness, learning, and change management consulting. Over the course of my career, I have worked across healthcare, business, and nonprofit settings, helping leaders and teams navigate change, strengthen communication, and build systems that support people well.
Much of that work has involved looking beyond one issue at a time to understand the bigger picture, including how people, decisions, communication, and systems all influence one another. That broader perspective helps me make sense of complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and help others build understanding as well.
I bring that same thoughtful, people-centered approach to public service.
My Approach to Service
I believe local government works best when residents feel heard, communication is clear, and decisions are made with care for both today and the future. My approach is to listen well, keep learning, ask thoughtful questions, and take the time to understand concerns before forming conclusions.
I also believe good service requires context, patience, and a willingness to look carefully at how decisions may affect residents, city processes, long-term planning, and the community as a whole. That kind of thoughtful attention helps build perspective, understanding, and better conversations.
Above all, I want residents to feel respected, informed, and confident that their voices matter. Trust is built over time through consistency, transparency, and follow-through, and I want this website to be one more way to share helpful information and stay connected with the community.
Community Connection
I’m a Ward 1 homeowner and Lake Saint Louis resident, and I’ve called the South 40 home since 2019, where we also live within the boundary of the Lake Saint Louis Community Association. Living here has given me a real appreciation for our neighborhoods, our shared spaces, and the importance of thoughtful local leadership.
My involvement with the Lake Saint Louis Ambassadors and the League of Women Voters has helped me stay engaged, informed, and connected to the community in meaningful ways, while also deepening my appreciation for civic participation and local engagement.
