SCCAD Grand Re-Opening
I’m a little late posting this since the event was Saturday, May 30, but I really wanted to make sure I acknowledged the St. Charles County Ambulance District’s grand re-opening, the remarkable team behind it, and the important services they provide. 🚑 SCCAD hosted the community from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with BBQ, building tours, information stations, ambulance tours, and opportunities to meet employees and leadership. Opening Weekend of the Farmers' & Artists Market
It was a chilly and windy start to the Lake St. Louis Farmers’ & Artists Market season at the Meadows this morning, but there was still a great turnout. We met so many wonderful people, got to pet lots of puppies, and definitely appreciated the coffee and tea to warm us up. With Election Day just 3 days away, I’m especially grateful for every chance to be out in the community and connect with neighbors. Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello this morning. 💚

As I got older, more and more of my reading focused on school requirements, professional topics, and building my leadership skills. Then, a few years ago, a friend gave me a book for Christmas. It was one of h
