Two Months and Two Days

Today marks two months and two days since I was sworn in as Ward 1 Alderman. I meant to post this at two months, but community life has a way of filling the calendar quickly. So here we are, two months and two days in. 😊

In this short time, I’ve had the honor of:

🏛️ Being sworn in and attending my first Board of Aldermen meetings from the other side of the table

🗳️ Participating in the voting process for several bills

🌳 Being appointed as the Board of Aldermen liaison to the Tree Board

🍀 Joining the Lake Saint Louis Ambassadors

📚 Being appointed to the MU Extension Council in St. Charles County

Participating in our Memorial Day observance

🤝 Attending a Newly Elected Officials Conference and connecting with leaders from neighboring communities

🎀 Supporting local businesses at open houses and grand openings

🗣️ Speaking with students through the League of Women Voters at CBC High School

I also made a promise to communicate, share information, and be as transparent as I can. I’m working to keep that promise by posting meeting reminders, updates, traffic alerts, community resources, and answers to resident questions whenever I’m able.

I’m still learning, listening, asking questions, showing up, and doing my best to serve thoughtfully.

And I’m so grateful. Grateful for the trust Ward 1 residents placed in me, for the people who have welcomed me, and for the opportunity to serve a community I care about deeply.
