It was a chilly and windy start to the Lake St. Louis Farmers’ & Artists Market season at the Meadows this morning, but there was still a great turnout. We met so many wonderful people, got to pet lots of puppies, and definitely appreciated the coffee and tea to warm us up. On Saturday, April 11, our community is joining neighboring cities for Mission: Clean Stream — a regional effort to remove trash from local streams and lakes. In 2024 alone, nearly 1,000 volunteers pulled 11 tons of trash from area creeks in just two hours. That’s the power of people coming together.
