With the April 7 election approaching, here are two quick steps to make sure you're ready to vote in Lake St. Louis. The first, make sure you're registered and the second, know your polling location.

To vote for Alderman in the April 7th election, you must be registered to vote by March 11th.

The General Municipal Election is April 7, 2026, but you do not have to wait until Election Day to cast your ballot. If you know you will be traveling, working, or simply prefer to vote early, you can.

Lake St. Louis is divided into three wards, and each ward has two Aldermen who are elected in alternating years. Since I’m running in Ward 1 this year, several neighbors have asked how to find out which ward they’re in.

Municipal Elections Matter. This is when we vote on local leadership and decisions that directly affect our day-to-day lives here in Lake St. Louis, including city services, planning, and community priorities.

An alderman helps make decisions about how our city operates on a day-to-day basis. That includes things like budgets, planning and zoning, parks, public spaces, city services, and long-term growth.
