📣 It’s Election Day.
If you haven’t voted yet, I hope you’ll make a plan to get to the polls today. Every election matters, and every voice deserves to be heard. For Ward 1 voters, please look for the section labeled For Alderman - Ward One, Two-Year Term at the bottom of the third column. That is where you’ll find my name on the ballot. The first name listed is the incumbent. My name appears second. If you would like to elect a thoughtful voice with fresh perspective, strong leadership experienc

Opening Weekend of the Farmers' & Artists Market
It was a chilly and windy start to the Lake St. Louis Farmers’ & Artists Market season at the Meadows this morning, but there was still a great turnout. We met so many wonderful people, got to pet lots of puppies, and definitely appreciated the coffee and tea to warm us up. With Election Day just 3 days away, I’m especially grateful for every chance to be out in the community and connect with neighbors. Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello this morning. 💚

📚 A quick reminder for fellow readers and future readers alike...
The library’s 250 Books Celebration is a great reason to stop in, get a library card, and make the most of what our libraries offer. I loved going to the library as a kid. With a library card, it felt like the doors to a million worlds opened up and fed my imagination. As I got older, more and more of my reading focused on school requirements, professional topics, and building my leadership skills. Then, a few years ago, a friend gave me a book for Christmas. It was one of h

Here’s what would help most: ✅ Choose a convenient polling location ✅ Sign-up for a time slot(s) that work best for you ✅ Pass the torch (signs) to the ne

💚 After the High Winds, Let’s Look Out for One Another
You may be seeing posts on social media about limbs coming down, pergolas blowing over, and umbrellas being swept away after the high winds we had on Sunday. We had a few limbs come down at our house, and one of my large campaign signs even had the grommets ripped right out. Some things are easy enough to repair, but I know that may not be the case for everyone. So I did a little research and wanted to share a few free or low-cost resources that may help neighbors dealing wit

Yard signs are one of the simplest ways neighbors learn about the campaign as they drive through the community. 🏡 If you’d be willing to host one, I’d truly appreciate your support.
